Idili Apartment - Panormos (Crete)

The apartment was spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and in the heart of the village, close to supermarkets and restaurants. the host was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. we had a great time and enjoyed our Easter break.

Although the apartment was nice, the upstairs area felt a bit dark and took some time to get used to. It wasn't a huge issue, but it was a noticeable difference from the well-lit downstairs area.

During my recent transit stay in Panormos, I had the pleasure of staying at Idili hotel. One of the standout features of this accommodation is its proximity to Heraklion International Airport, which is only 45 km away. This made my travel experience incredibly convenient and time-saving, allowing me to quickly rest before continuing my journey. Another positive aspect of my stay was the comfortable and well-kept facilities provided by Idili. The hotel offered a pleasant environment for relaxation and provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

Though the facilities were well-maintained, I found the dining choices to be somewhat limited.

The hotel is a romantic oasis with a fine garden where we enjoyed evening drinks and even cooked some light lunches in the outdoor kitchen. One of the highlights was Maria's amazing cheese pies that she would surprise us with at breakfast. Markos, the host, was hospitable and even treated us to Raki and melon in the garden. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the tavernas but still a peaceful and tranquil oasis. The rooms were spacious, well-heated, and had all the necessary comforts. The balcony offered a great view and was the perfect spot to relax. The owners were friendly, discreet, and always ready to help. we had an lovely experience and highly recommend this place.

The property was super spacious and had a cool traditional vibe. The host, Markos, was the absolute best, always making sure we had a great time. The town had some awesome hangouts for us teens, with a few happening bars and clubs nearby. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the island.

If I had to pick one thing, I wish there were more late-night activities for us party-loving teens. But honestly, it didn't really matter because we had such a blast at the hotel and in the town.

The property was very spacious, with a traditional house that had two levels and two bathrooms. the room was cosy and comfortable, with modern amenities and a traditional layout. the AC and wifi worked great, and the beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. the breakfast was quite nice, with a variety of fruits, jams, yogurt, eggs, and delicious coffee. the town was enchanting, with cobblestone streets, small beaches, and a cozy atmosphere.

The upstairs area was a bit dark, but this is to be expected in a typical Cretan house and can be easily adjusted to.

The location of this beautiful old house is perfect. It is on the edge of the village, so it is very peaceful, yet it is also very close to amenities and the beach. The breakfast served in the tranquil garden is delicious. The hospitality of Marcos and Stella, the hosts, is wonderful. They make you feel welcome and special. Plus, there are a lot of good tavernas within walking distance.

Felt very comfortable, no complaints at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Idili House in Panormos, Crete. The spacious and well-equipped apartments provided all the comforts we needed for a relaxing vacation. The owner, Markos, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, offering excellent recommendations for local cuisine and sightseeing.
